Nawbahar Technologies takes its name from Nawbahar District in Zabul Province, Afghanistan, where the company’s founder deployed during the Global War on Terror.
Nawbahar was a remote forward operating base where operators routinely faced complex challenges in austere environments.
In Persian, Nawbahar translates to “new beginning.”
To the founder, the name represents resilience and perseverance in the toughest situations, as well as the opportunity to take lessons learned through operational experience and build something better.
