The Dog Bone buoy supports maritime demolition operations by providing a stable surface flotation point for demolition cord and associated line during underwater charge placement. Developed with input from Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians, the buoy replaces improvised flotation methods commonly used during underwater demolition tasks and provides a compact, repeatable solution for cord management and surface marking.
